How many ares are in a 0.35-hectare plot?
Multiply 0.35 by 100 to get 35 ares. The same plot has an area of 3,500 m². Area alone does not determine the length and width: plots with different shapes can have the same area.
Fast, clear, no sign-up
Enter an area in hectares to find its value in ares. One hectare equals 100 ares, or 10,000 square meters.
Use a point or comma for decimals.
Hectares to ares
Multiply the number of hectares by 100. A hectare contains 10,000 m² and an are contains 100 m². Dividing 10,000 by 100 gives the conversion factor of 100. For example, 1.25 ha × 100 = 125 ares.
ares = hectares × 100 hectares = ares ÷ 100
| Hectares (ha) | Ares (a) |

Divide the number of ares by 100. For example, 75 ares = 0.75 ha and 250 ares = 2.5 ha. Use the arrow button to swap the converter’s units. A rectangular plot measuring 40 m × 25 m has an area of 1,000 m² = 10 ares = 0.1 ha.
