A screen’s inch measurement usually refers to its diagonal. A 55-inch screen has a diagonal of 139.7 cm; that is not its width. For a 16:9 aspect ratio, the screen itself is approximately 121.8 cm wide and 68.5 cm tall, excluding the frame.
